How do I fit a photo on Instagram without cropping it?
Choose the "Blurred background" or "Solid colour" fit. The photo stays whole and fully visible; the rest of the target size is filled with a blurred copy of the photo or the colour you pick.
What size in pixels are Instagram posts, stories and profile pictures?
A 4:5 post is 1080×1350, a square post is 1080×1080, a landscape post is 1080×566, Stories and Reels are 1080×1920, and a profile picture is 320×320 pixels. The tool outputs exactly these sizes.
Does it lower the quality?
JPG and WebP have a quality slider; around 90 looks the same to the eye. PNG is lossless but the file is large. Enlarging a small photo to a big size will not add sharpness, of course.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser; your photos never leave your device and are never sent to a server.
Is location and camera data kept in the output?
No. GPS location and camera details are not carried into the output file.
