How do I change the font on Instagram?
Instagram does not let you change its font. This tool is not a real font: it uses special letters from Unicode. It converts your text, and you copy and paste it. It usually shows up fine on phones and in Instagram.
Are these real fonts?
No. Each letter that looks bold, script or gothic is a separate Unicode character. That is why you can paste it almost anywhere, but very old devices may show an empty box (▯). Screen readers may not read these letters properly, so it is a good idea to write important details (like contact info) in plain text.
Does it work in my @username?
No. An Instagram username only accepts letters, numbers, periods and underscores. Fancy letters work in the name field, the bio, captions and comments.
Do Turkish and other accented letters work?
Most styles have no version of these letters, so they are swapped for the nearest plain letter (the Turkish dotless i becomes a plain i, for example). Framed styles keep your text exactly as typed.
How long can a bio be?
An Instagram bio can be 150 characters and the name field 30. The tool shows how many characters you typed. Instagram counts characters its own way, so if you are right under the limit, check once after pasting.
Is it free? Is my text sent anywhere?
