Turn camera RAW files (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF…) into JPG, PNG or WebP. It pulls out the full-size preview stored inside each file; it is fast and your files never leave your device.
RAW Converter is a free online tool that turns camera RAW files (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF…) into JPG, PNG or WebP. Pick several files at once and download them all in one go. The conversion runs in your browser; your files are never uploaded.
Almost every RAW file also carries a full-size JPG preview that the camera processed. The tool extracts that preview from inside the file and converts it to the format you choose. The raw sensor data is not developed: the colours are the camera's own processing. For exposure and white balance you need a RAW editor such as Lightroom or Darktable.
How do I convert a RAW file to JPG?
Add your RAW files, choose the output format (JPG, PNG or WebP) and press Convert. The tool takes the full-size JPG preview the camera stored inside the file and converts it to the format you picked.
Which RAW formats are supported?
CR2, CR3, CRW (Canon), NEF, NRW (Nikon), ARW, SRF, SR2 (Sony), DNG (Adobe, including iPhone ProRAW), RAF (Fujifilm), ORF (Olympus / OM System), RW2 (Panasonic), PEF (Pentax), SRW (Samsung), X3F (Sigma) and more. If a file has no usable JPG preview you see a "no preview found" note on that row.
Is this real RAW development? Can I change exposure and white balance?
No. This tool does not develop the raw sensor data; it extracts the JPG preview the camera already processed, so the colours are the camera's own Picture Style / profile. For exposure and white balance you need a RAW editor such as Lightroom, Darktable or RawTherapee. In return it is very fast and nothing is uploaded.
Is the output the same resolution as the RAW?
The preview size depends on the camera: full or close to full on many models, smaller on some. The list shows each file's output size (width × height) so you can check before downloading.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser; your RAW files never leave your device and are never sent to a server.
Is location and camera data kept in the output?
No. GPS location and camera details are not carried into the output file.
