Frame Grab

FRAME BY FRAME

Load a video, step through it frame by frame and drop the moments you like into the tray. Then give them all one look, tweak any single one, and download in bulk. Everything runs in your browser — the video is never uploaded.

RAW file opened from its embedded JPEG preview; quality may be slightly lower than full RAW but is more than enough for most uses. Works without downloading a heavy RAW decoder.

⚠️ The region you picked is smaller than the target resolution; the download will be upscaled (slight softening). For a sharper result use a larger photo or pick a smaller size.

Extract frames from a video — video to image

Frame Grab is a free online tool that pulls the moments you choose out of a video as high-quality photos. Step through the clip frame by frame, drop the frames you like into a tray, give each the same film look and colour controls as Color Grade, then download them all in one go. The video never leaves your device.

How to use it

  1. Add your video (MP4, MOV or WEBM).
  2. Drag the bar or use the arrows to move frame by frame.
  3. Press Capture frame on each moment you want.
  4. Pick a look and download them all, or use Download now for a single frame.

Frequently asked questions

How do I extract frames from a video?

Add the video, drag the bar or use the arrow buttons to reach the frame you want and press Capture frame. Frames go into a tray and you can download them all at once.

Is my video uploaded?

No. The video stays on your device and frames are extracted in your browser.

Can I colour-edit before downloading?

Yes. 21 film looks, intensity, exposure, contrast and temperature apply to every frame, and any single frame can take its own colour.
