Make a pop art portrait: Andy Warhol style, in one tap

Four or nine copies of the same portrait, each in a different colour palette: the look of Warhol's famous prints, with your photo.

How does it work?

AI first separates the person from the background. It then flattens the person into a few solid tones and paints each panel with a different palette: navy and yellow on pink, purple and orange on blue, and so on. The background gets light print dots and the person a black outline.

Step by step

  1. Open AI Art; Pop art is already picked. Add your photo. The AI takes a few seconds to get ready the first time.
  2. In the Paint & Pop tab pick Pop art 2×2 or Pop art 3×3.
  3. Tune Tones (2, 3 or 4), Outline and Background dots.
  4. Pick a square (1:1) or 4:5 size and download.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a pop art portrait?

Open AI Art, add your photo and pick Pop art 2×2 in the Paint & Pop tab. Tune the tones, outline and dots, then download.

Does the AI send my photo anywhere?

No. The model that separates the person runs in your browser; it downloads the first time and then stays on your device.

Is it free? Is there a watermark?

Yes, it is free. No account, and no watermark on the file you download.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, in the iPhone and Android browser. If you opened the link inside the Instagram app, use "Open in browser" for Safari or Chrome.
