About Otto Tools

Otto Tools (IG Tools by Otto) is a set of free photo and video tools for Instagram posts, Stories and Reels. They run in your browser, with no app to install and no account.

Who makes it?

One person builds the site: otto. On Instagram he posts motorcycle photos as @ottotwowheels, and most of the examples on this site come from them. He is on LinkedIn too.

Why is it free?

Every tool is free and the site is supported by ads. You do not need an account, and no watermark is added to what you download.

Where are my photos processed?

The editing tools and converters process your photos and videos on your own device, inside your browser; your file is not sent to a server. A few features need a server by their nature:

The Instagram and TikTok Downloaders look up the public post you paste through a server.
Lyrics Video fetches the song lyrics and cover art from a server.
If you share your work with Send to the site, the image you send is published in “From you” on the home page once it is approved.

Details: Privacy and terms.

What's here?

Collage and grid splitting, motion blur, colour grading, double exposure, retro and AI effects, Story templates, Reels templates, lyrics videos, Instagram resizing, background removal, Instagram fonts, HEIC, RAW and image converters, frame grabbing and downloaders. They are all on the home page.
